About the project
137 Unanswered Signals is a public installation that turns the cultural myth of rescue into a real-time social experiment. Unmodified Barbie dolls, presented as ready-mades, are equipped with personal alarms in public space.
Each signal asks passersby to decide whether to respond or keep walking. The website preserves its history and the responses—or their absence—in a living archive of care, indifference, disappearance, and chance.
